Dear Rebecca

We have just arrived home from our honeymoon and wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did with our wedding flowers.
Mine and the bridesmaids bouquets were amazingly gorgeous and the centre pieces for the tables were STUNNING!!! All the button holes and corsages were beautiful and Mark wanted to pass on his thanks for the additional daisies in his.
Our mums adored their thank you flowers and, as with everything else, they were so beautiful.
The flowers received so many positive comments on the day and our guests are still talking about them now.
You made everything look stunning on our special day and we have been asked for your details by a number of people, so impressed were they by your talent.
On a personal note, Mark and I had no idea what we wanted when we first came to see you, but you guided us through our options and had so many already beautiful arrangements to help us choose. You were so fantastic to work with and made everything so easy with amazing results.

Thank you Rebecca for everything, you were an absolute star and we loved everything you did!!

Diana and James's Bollywood wedding

Oops, I've neglected my blog once again, I've been super busy, and it's quicker to post on Facebook!  I love these images of Diana and James's beautiful East meets West style wedding back in May. Their bouquets, I think there were 7 in total, were amongst my all time favourites, and they all became table centrepieces on trestle tables lined with mismatched chairs in the village hall for the reception. We worked so hard on the colour mix for the bouquets so that it looked amazing with the sari style bridesmaids' dresses. Gorgeous photos by Jack at Firsthand Photography.

Intimate colourful, fun wedding at The Full Moon in Morton

When I first met Helen she had a definite vision for her wedding day. Above all it was going to be filled with colour, fun and eclectic touches. Think colourful pompoms, bottles and jars of vibrant blooms, a stand of homemade cakes, a fish and chip van in the pub car park, and a collection of bikes just in case any of the guests wanted to explore the country lanes! The flowers were chosen to complement all the colours in Helen's amazing dress. 

Oversized bouquets!

I had a wonderful time last week creating these huge bouquets for Save The Date Magazine's photo shoot in Nottingham city centre. The oversized bouquet is certainly a trend for 2014. It's not for everyone, and it definitely doesn't complement every style of dress, but it makes a stunning, incredibly eye-catching statement. Ideally it should be wild, unstructured and even asymmetric, made up of lots of different sized blooms, accompanied by beautifully trailing, soft, wispy foliage. It looks at its best when teamed with a simple style of dress, relatively slim fitting, floaty or figure hugging.

Sweet wedding florals 'bottled and jarred' for Claire and Phil

Lisa and Jonathon, Swancar Farm

It's a lovely feeling when you're setting up a wedding, and two people enter the room, independently of one another, and announce that it looks like something out of a magazine.

This wedding had lots of style, a beautifully soft, natural colour palette,  exquisite extra detail provided by Lisa and Jonathon, perfectly complementing the beautiful surroundings of Swancar Farm. Thank you so much to Lucy Stendall for the stunning photography.
