Katie and Innes, The Nottingham Conference Centre

I love it when the style of a wedding reflects the personality of a client, and this was one such case. My bride Katie writes for a living; on her website, she introduces herself "Hi I'm Katie and I work with words... By day she writes sparkling copy and non-fiction, and by night, she works on her first novel. How wonderful to be able to include hard back prose and poetry, printed bunting, and flowers made from pages of books, as part of the table decor. Combining literature with floral pieces in cut glass vases worked a treat! Thank you to my friend Jayne Claudine for the pretty photos.

Vintage afternoon tea delight for Lucy and Dan

Thrumpton looked utterly delightful today for Lucy and Dan's tea party wedding with flower filled birdcages, Victorian jugs, lace cloths and pretty floral mats, a vintage sweet trolley, bunting galore, and a delicious 3 course afternoon tea prepared by Maverick.

Dear Rebecca...A massive thank you for the fantastic job you did for the flowers at our wedding- we absolutely loved them, and some of my favourite photos of the day are of the flowers! Floraldeco's catwalk bouquets at The Round House Wedding Event

A few weeks ago I was asked by the lovely Amy at The Little White Dress to supply bouquets
for her beautiful models to carry on the catwalk at Save the Date's wedding event at The RoundHouse. The bouquets were designed in a hand-picked, relaxed style to compliment the most gorgeous dresses, festival style with a genuine bohemian feel to them. Thank you so much to the very talented Rachael Connerton for the photos. I wasn't able to be at the event myself, so I was thrilled to see how everything came together. I recommend Amy at The Little White Dress and Rachael Connerton Photography for exactly the same reasons. What they provide is totally unique, a combination of something very special delivered by individuals who are passionate about what they do.

Beautiful, beautiful boho wedding at Thrumpton... 'Wild and completely unstructured' were Kait's words to me, last year when I first met with her. We sat at meetings together, and put cream enamel jugs inside birdcages, discussed wild flowers and herbs falling out of bottles and pots. And today it all came together with....an overarm bouquet of wild, delicate flowers to compliment a beautifully boho dress, bunches of meadow flowers, bound in lace, carried by attendants, clad in smoky lilac, posy style buttonholes with lavender and thistles. .. French grey birdcages bursting with flowers on every level. On the lawns, wild flowers filled beer bottles, brought from the hen weekend in Brighton, they sprung out of ancient medicine bottles and jam jars dressed in lace, on the top table, and were strewn across tables in a truly haphazard style. It worked beautifully...
