Yesterday there was a knock on the door. It was Alex who married Lizzie a few weeks ago. They had just returned from their honeymoon in California. He brought with him a disc of their wedding photos, it was such a lovely gesture. It was a beautiful wedding to be part of. With a church full to the brim with flowers, pew end posies and pedestals which were later taken to Stapleford Park for their Reception provided decoration for the Orangery and the terrace. Eighteen tables in the Grand Hall were adorned with tall candelabras with country garden style flowers in shades of pink and green. With posies of scented wax flower on the pillows of the guest bedrooms, all the finishing touches were there. Photos by Claire Evans
